Barre is an excellent workout for everybody, it combines movements from ballet, yoga and Pilates in an effective sequence with high repetition and low impact for muscle strengthening and toning.
While using a ballet barre is a signature of the workout, after continuing to teach through the Covid pandemic, I learned that you can get quite creative and use many different rooms in your home as a replacement. Making Barre accessible and convenient.
So, lets get moving! I’m Theresa, I am a professional Barre instructor and have taught for 5 years in studio. I am now a mother of two beautiful children and am looking to continue my passion for teaching this amazing exercise with you in the comfort of your home.
(60 Minutes) - Our most requested format—balanced and complete. Full warm-up, targeted barre work at the “barre” (chair/counter), floor/core series, and cool-down stretch. Personalized to your goals for noticeable toning and posture improvements.
We’ll work with what you have at home for a fully customized session! A sturdy chair, countertop, or wall for barre support; light weights (or water bottles), a yoga mat or towel for floor work, stretching bands, small ball (or pillow substitute), and grippy socks. I’ll guide improvisations and modifications to keep the workout effective and safe. Ideal if you already have basics or prefer your personal items—still gets the same transformative sculpt!
(75 Minutes) - Deeper immersion for transformative sessions. Extra time for refined form corrections, added mobility/stretching, or bonus focus areas (e.g., back/shoulders recovery). Great if you want slower, more precise work or to layer in light props for intensity.
I arrive with everything needed for an elevated, seamless barre experience: premium non-slip mat, light hand weights (2–4 lbs), resistance loop bands, small Pilates ball, and a portable barre if your space lacks a sturdy chair/counter. No prep required on your end—just clear a spot and enjoy the burn! Perfect for effortless luxury and optimal form with pro tools.
(45 Minutes) - Perfect for busy days or a focused refresh. We dive straight into high-impact barre sequences targeting arms, thighs, glutes, and core with efficient pulsing and holds—no fluff, maximum results in minimal time. Ideal for maintenance or your first session to experience the burn.
